The idea of creating a highly porous slice of urban fabric populated by small scale blocks allows for
"ventilation breezeways" between the individual 5-storey condominium blocks, creating an ambience
of airiness. This pursuit for lightness is extended to the architectural expression, where balconies are
sheathed in translucent screens and an elegantly detailed high-level trellis roof deftly hovers over the
housing blocks. The trellis roof can be likened to the foliage canopy of a tree, gently spreading its shade
